Rainbow Garden Kauai supplies the island of Kauai with fresh sprouted produce. Our produce is raised hydroponically with only water and light. No pesticides or herbicides are used. As a commercial grower, we comply with all FDA regulations and operate under a permit issued by the State of Hawaii Health Department. A licensed commercial kitchen facilitates harvesting, washing, drying, weighing and packaging of the products. Refrigeration ensures freshness prior to distribution.

Self sufficiency is an important goal for our island. We are members and supporters of the county’s Kauai Made and Kauai Grown programs. With the high cost of shipping and the perishable nature of sprouts, it makes sense to produce this food source where it is consumed.

Kauai Food Bank is a program we endorse and support with donations.

Recipe corner

3 cups sprouted Garbanzo
1 small cucumber diced
3 oz feta cheese, crumbled
2 T. sun-dried tomatoes
(coarsely chopped)
2 tea fresh thyme
2 T. golden balsamic vinegar
1 tea. extra-virgin olive oil
Combine all ingredients;
toss well to combine. Cover and refrigerate several hours or until ready to serve. Enjoy!
